Assassin's Creed Shadows: Modular Kosode

The kosode was the most worned piece of clothing during the game's time period. It quickly became important to create many variations without constantly re-creating the same base. This was the idea behind the modular kosode system. I was tasked with the creation of a few 'base' kosode which would then swap sleeves, skirt lenghts, fabrics and pattern between each other. It became an important system that dresses most of the crowd from riches to poors, as well as some other unique characters.
The kosode in these shots are displaying patterns made by the texture artists.
